Cutting Setup
Machine: 4 kW rail saw with variable-frequency drive
Cooling: continuous water flow 5 L/min at 20 °C
Process: single-pass full-depth cut, no scoring, light mist at entry to suppress dust

Sandstone Cutting Tips
Marking: scribe a 1 mm offset line to compensate for the 3 mm blade kerf and keep joints tight.
Water: maintain ≥ 5 L/min; sandstone clogs quickly and slurry must be flushed.
Feed: keep a steady 2.2 m/min—faster feeds on soft stone prevent glazing.
