Customer Reviews
To do the same bond as we use is very important. We did many tests at your blades And the performance is very good.

—— Remco

The cutting of the blade on concrete road was very good. Cutting life is estimated at 800 meters. Note: Client use our 14" laser saw blade.

—— Jabar

Segments from you is very good, durable and sharp. Note: Client use our 102mm-300mm diamond segments for core bits for reinforced concrete.

—— Zainul

First of all I would like to thank you for the sending the samples of the Diamond Saw Cutting Blades. We have tested it and are very much impressed.

—— Ancila

Step-by-Step Asphalt Drilling Guide: Wet vs. Dry Techniques
Latest company news about Step-by-Step Asphalt Drilling Guide: Wet vs. Dry Techniques

1. Preparation: Tools & Safety Gear

Drilling asphalt successfully requires a structured process. Before starting, assemble your "Pro Kit":

  • Core Drill Machine: Handheld for shallow holes; stand-mounted for deep or high-volume jobs.

  • Dust Control: Water feed system for wet drilling; HEPA vacuum (DeWalt DWV012) for dry drilling.

  • PPE: Impact goggles, heavy-duty gloves, respirator, and hearing protection.

2. Site Prep & Surface Marking

  1. Marking: Use bright spray paint or chalk.

  2. GPR Check: Always use Ground-Penetrating Radar (GPR) or check utility maps to avoid hidden pipes.

  3. Surface Cleaning: Sweep away loose gravel. If the surface is uneven, use a grinder to improve drill stability.

3. Choosing Your Method: Wet vs. Dry Drilling

Feature Wet Drilling Dry Drilling
Best For Thick Asphalt (3"+) & Deep Holes Thin Asphalt (<3") & Quick Fixes
Pros Cools bit, zero dust, extends tool life Faster setup, less mess
Cons Requires water source and slurry cleanup Risk of overheating bit

How to Perform Wet Drilling

  • Attach a water hose (aim for 1–2 liters per minute).

  • Start slow (300–500 RPM) to create a guide groove.

  • Increase to 800–1,200 RPM, letting the drill’s weight do the work.

How to Perform Dry Drilling

  • Always attach a HEPA vacuum extractor to capture hazardous fine dust.

  • Drill in bursts: 20–30 seconds of drilling, followed by a 10-second pause to cool the bit.

  • If you hit a concrete base, switch to a diamond-tipped bit immediately.

4. Post-Drilling Maintenance

Clean your tools immediately after use. Rinse diamond bits to remove residue and store carbide bits in a dry case to prevent rust.
